So many things going in my mind lately... I want to learn t take things slow and easy. I'm trying too hard fr things that I shouldn't prioritize to try for. And, I am very bad at embracing what I can't accept, in all aspects. I shall start with sleeping earlier (LOL this is totally random and Ikr, no link at all).

On a side note, I caught Journey 2 with Jh. Omg it's qte a lousy movie imo... it's the first time I regret not listening t Jh (hahaha!) - should have caught We Not Naughty or whatever film t perhaps make our eleven bucks each more worth it. Walked home from Yishun t Sembawang, surprisingly, I kinda like the walk 'cus the breeze was awesome. Lol~

Some pictures when my family and I headed off t Sunway Lagoon (M'sia) fr a short getaway! It was really nice t have spent quality time with my family, and since I had no access t the internet ('cus the silly me didn't realize the hotel room had a LAN cable although thr's no wireless...), it practically meant I was cut off from my boyfriend, my friends and basically my social circle. Hahahaha but it was great t have trips like this once in a while... Wishing fr more t come! :)

One of the best parts of the trip would be.. the hotel! It's really pretty nice, and I like the fact that we've booked those kind of family room! Don't know what's the correct term fr it, but basically, the rooms were connected through another door within the rooms. Everything felt so cosy! Kinda miss the times when my elder brother and sis-in-law were staying with us fr a period of time before they moved into their new house... though I must say privacy and space were compromised. Hahaha

Anyway, Happy Twenty Twelve everybardeeeee!

I went fr a picnic-style countdown at Marina Barrage.. and it was an awesome night with the sec sch peeps and B! It wasn't that crowded at the rooftop area, so we viewed the beautiful fireworks without having t squeeze with people and without feeling the humidity haha. New Year's Day itself was spent with B and my family celebrating my grandma's birthday, and later on a simple gathering with the uni peeps playing the usual board games. Really glad t have spent my last day of 2011 and first day of 2012 like this, wouldn't have done it any other way :')

Recalling 2011... another entry would be required, just like what was done every other previous year. It's certainly not the best time t continue t such an entry since it's already 5plus in the morning.. so perhaps another day.

Still, just t sum up 2011, it's been a fine year with reasonable times of both ups and downs... I'm just thankful that no matter what is it regarding, ultimately, things will still work out just as fine, and everything will fall into place :) I hope that year 2012 will turn out t be an awesome year, with me learning t count my blessings more often than not, learning to be a better daughter/girlfriend/friend and learning t enjoy my life better! ♥

Lazy, lazy days

So this is how we spent our 2 years' anni - having awesome chicken rice at Novena, and moving on t Sun Yat Sen museum t understd some part of my SS module better, studying and dozing off at Ion's Burger King, heading home to study (because my SS exam's the next day and I really didn't know thr's qte a lot t study fr) while B went fr dance at night. That was in late November!

We kind of managed to make up to each other by having a more proper celebration a week ago though! Haha when both of us were more free.

BUT the trip has been enriching fr both of us (even though B didn't take this mod).. Singapore has a really deeper and richer history than what most of us thought :) Mainly related to the modernization of China though. Free admission fr students!

Last night, I had dinner (or rather, Cheryl's belated birthday dinner!) with Cheryl & Alicia at F.I.S.H (by Fish&Co) at 313. Order a main course on their menu, and you can get free flow of salad! Like some mini side salad buffet. I love the salad thr! Especially their crab stick salad, and their vinegar dressing fr the veg. Furthermore, salad's not really filling so Cheryl and I had pretty much of it ;) nomsss. Adding the place t one of my mini list of favourite restaurants!

Planned t sleep earlier EVERY night but thr MUST be something which extended my bedtime. Eg. online movie was longer than expected, snacked/ate noodles at weird hours and had t wait fr the food t kinda digest before I slept. I think it's because I always wake up late, my meal times are now kinda irregular. Not good. Like I'm ALWAYS hungry around 2 t 3am. I woke up at 5pm tdy (haha shut up, it's only today la), had lunch at 5plus, dinner at 9plus (dabao into the cinemaaa), and noodles at 3am. Awesome...... -_-

It's 5plus AM already :( Was rly tired aft gaming fr like 4hrs with the usual people...... like my shoulders really needed a massage and I wanted t puke lah. So giddy rushing throughout each game. Hahaha. But as much as I wanted t sleep, my state of hunger was uncontrollable. Coincidentally, my brother was cooking noodles... so I.. just added in half a pack of noodles inside the pot. Indeed an effortless and lazy attempt hahaha

So now I'm typing this while my dad just left home fr work. Sometimes I don't know if I am doing enough as a daughter... if I'm doing enough for the family? My dad left house around 5plus AM in the morning t work, all the way until 11pm (and sometimes later). Yeah 2 jobs. To support the family. I'll definitely make sure that I'll work towards in giving my parents a comfortable life in the near future :)

Had my hair curled... again. But this time round the curls are definitely much looser? Such that some parts are kind of straight still. Just getting real bored of my naturally straight hair. Did I tell you I love how it looks when curls are tied up into a high/low ponytail? I like to observe how girls with curls tie their hair :) Well but not like I tie my hair often anyway haha. And thanks t the chemicals my hair colour turned from not-so-black t brown again (yes, I prefer Black)

Caught Harry Potter last week when it first screened with Irene, her boyf & Louis. This couple ah, always very ke qi and nice t us!!! Lol. Anyway, the ending made the whole cinema giggle (weird description but true) cus the three main leads are obviously not cut out to be parents in the show. (Oops if you haven't watched, haha!)

I can't rly rembeber what I did so far since last Saturday.. I had work, met up with the JC peeps t send one of our classmates off t Aussie, met up with ZH and NJ, played LAN last night, well that's about it. Basically I've jst been hanging n bummin arnd. Maybe I shall make an effort t wake up earlier fr a jog/swim 'cus this is getting unhealthy

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS!

Had a simple dinner at Causeway Point's Ajisen with my family... aww it has been sucha long time since I've spent time with them. School seemed t rob quality family time away from me on Sundays... I think I've missed out 2 months' worth (or more) Sundays with my family :(

Stayed up and caught the elections last night along with majority of the Singaporeans. With social networking, young people really became more informed about local politics... even me. I didn't really care much about politics when I was way younger. Look at all the hype caused by the youngsters now haha. I'm kind of a neutral party... I think it may get beneficial if there are slightly more opposition voices in the government, but George Yeo stepping down from his ministerial position doesn't do justification at all.

Anyway, I feel that people shouldn't really put the blame on the void votes for PP's case. I mean, just because it's a small margin, you direct the blame to the void votes? And if you say that the void votes are in favour of PAP... that's not very logical and true right? Not that I am anti-opposition, but yeah just my thoughts

Birthday is at the end of the month and I've not planned much for it yet. Booked the only chalet that was left t book, and kind of settled on the theme (it's gonna be pretty easy t go along with lah haha). Ohnooooo I feel that I haven't saved enough for the expenses needed, but luckily my dad and brother offered some help haha. Yeah and it's gonna be combined with Baby's birthday... since his is one day before mine :)

Stayed over at Cheryl's house last Friday. I love you Cheryl though you won't see this I think haha.

If you didn't know, there's both Human and Cylon coasters. please try the Cylon one hahahaha damn exciting. I remembered we were all fearing like idiots when we were about t step into our seats

Yeah that's how my Vday was spent. We had school until evening, so we could only celebrate it formally at night. We had indian cuisine at some poolside area at Landmark Village Hotel... it was somewhere between Bugis MRT and Haji Lane? The other time I was talking about it fr fun on the website, and he rly went t book it secretly hahahaha. The ambience was unexpectedly nice and romantic, although there's a qte lot of other couples dining! Like, the whole 'restaurant' was full. Then later in the night, we exchanged our gifts and cards!

Nothing really fancy like spending our time at very luxurious places or really expensive gifts, but I was so contented. Really happy enough t just have him t spend the Vday tgtr :') We kind of always DIY stuff fr each other... and I really like it. It's something that money can't really buy us, and it's just so sweet t see each other putting effort in handicraft at this age ♥

Time passed really quickly and I've been with baby fr a year plus. It just didn't feel like a year plus. I am really very comfortable around him, and the year didn't even seem long. Just feeling very thankful and hence I wanted t pen down this post properly... thankful that he always tries t be there fr me, anytime. Thankful that he finds me good enough, and has never wished that I was anyone else. Thankful that he makes me feel so loved and well taken care of. Thankful that he can't do without me like how I can't do without him. Just really thankful that I've found him, although I've never really expressed t him that.. I really appreciate all the little things that he's done fr me. Of course, we're an ordinary couple; we had times when we quarreled over the slightest detail too. Then again, we have never lost faith in each other. Because I am learning. And he is too.

My post about 2010 came late... strangely, I don't feel like I have a lot t blog about because it's definitely less happening than 2009. So far, 2009 has been yeah just t sum it up and fr memories' sake, here's t 2010 :)

BKK Trip It was a really spontaneous trip... Louis and I booked it aft being tgtr fr less than a month? I remember us booking the trip when we were studying fr exams LOL. Del and Des booked tix fr BKK later than us too, so Louis and I changed our dates t accommodate them :) It was a great trip! ♥ It was my first overseas trip with a boyfriend. Would love t go on another one if I have the money

OHOohoh Louis and I actually ran fr the plane! Literally. We packed late and all and in the end my dad had t speed t fetch us down t the airport on time. Mehehehe exciting lah, but hopefully it's gna be the first/last time almost missing a flight

Valentine's Day I remember it clashed with CNY, right? Haha my vday was pretty simple, just a fantastic dinner at some Korean restaurant at Dempsey's with baby, then Harry's. Besides gifts, he drew cute little images on little styrofoam blocks (I hv no idea how t describe 'em). I tried t convince he's pretty artistic but he doesn't think so

School This is the part which I spent most of my 2010 on, I guess? Semester 1 was pretty good when we still had the company of an alumni group, but Semester 2 was.. different. It was more mundane because I didn't rly hv a constant clique t hang out with. Truth t be told, I didn't enjoy school because of the heavy workload and the monotony I felt at times. Thr's so many more projects this year... but despite the work itself being a nuisance, I enjoyed the company of my random groupmates :)

Birthday Turned 20! Simple dinner celebrations with secondary sch friends, JC friends and uni friends. And of course, family. Different from the surprises I received when I was 18 and 19 (thank you planners!) but they were nevertheless ♥

Baby's Birthday I planned this!!! I was glad that I planned because it turned out all good. Haha his best friend Scott helped me out and we were damn panicky on the day itself 'cus the plan nearly foiled. He actually really thought it was a coincidence at first when he saw the boys sitting together on the same table in Ma Maison -____- LOL

Ajisen I know right, this is fucking no0b and not worth blogging but still, my first time trying Ajisen hahahahaha

Camps OH NOW I recall. I joined union camp and FOC as a facilitator! I thought outings were actually more fun than the camps themselves, because everyone's usually more closely knitted aft camps.. right? Haha. Shrek (my biz og) won the best OG fr FOC 2010!!! Our prizes were... plain caps. Yeah right those which you could get in Bugis -___-

Work I had a part-time job fr a month (I think btw May/June) at this industrial area near my place. It's a small company called Hypac Packaging, with about 6 adults working in the office? They're all in charge of different departmental processes, and it's kind of like a family business. Although it was a simple admin job and I had mega amount of freedom (I could like easily access FB/Twitter), I learnt stuff related t what I'm learning in biz now. My managers (they're siblings) were reallllly nice people too... they've never failed t insist on fetching me out fr lunch :) Most of the time, they didn't allow me t pay too 'cus they claimed that 'I'm still young'. Lol.

But I'll never work in an industrial area again! Omg there are really little females working thr, and the factory workers would just sit in a row or something outside the buildings... it just felt qte intimidating t walk through all of 'em.

Tuition Picked up two tuition assignments hmmm

Christmas/Countdown Spent it with my secondary school people ♥ Christmas party was held at Amara's, and although the room was small, it felt so cosy! Especially that part when all of us sat tgtr on the bed and share horror stories. Ok la but nothing christmas-sy about it hehe. Countdown was spent at Henderson Wave! Omg walking along the seemingly endless bridge rly felt qte creepy at night. Anyway, we couldn't get a perfect view of fireworks, but I rly don't think it mattered that much :)

Nothing major worth mentioning about!
It's a very simple and peaceful year, no one really came/left :)

I am glad t say, I think I became more responsible and mature! And perhaps, more forgiving as well? I've seen a lot actually, like I continued t witness how selfish a person can actually get. Some people just really just care fr themselves, and use you only when you're needed. Some are worse; to achieve what/the image they want, they can really do/say anything/distort facts when they know no shit. This kinda personality angers me at times but still.......... y'know, their life

I also realize that arguments can escalate pretty badly due t miscommunication (not that I didn't know of, but I learnt more about it). Some people did tell me that they think Louis and I look like we don't quarrel, I'd take that as a compliment but... seriously, which couple doesn't quarrel? Haha. Then again, these fights only made us closer ultimately because we'd always try our best t work issues out and I'm thankful we did it together ♥

Hope 2011 remains as peaceful as 2010,
but an even better and more eventful year!

I have resolutions, but they are more or less same as last year's. Just that I rly hv t work extra hard t save up, sleep early and prolly study harder. Well I also hope that my parents can kinda like, give me greater freedom in terms of staying out, 'cus I believe I've rly learnt how t take care of myself better

Lastly, very cliche but...

I kinda give up using foundation on my face. I can NEVER find the shade I like. In the past, I wld use my MAC studio fix and apply lightly on my face before I head out. But since a few months back I've stopped using it. 'Cus I felt that it's making my skin kinda dull-looking (after removal of make-up, of course) and furthermore I don't protect my skin with moisturizers or blah. I rmbr the other time I used a mud mask, my face got artificially sun-burnt. LOL. The thought of removing make-up irks me ttm too. It's like, after a tired day out, you reach home and rest on sofa bed or whatsoever, and then you go wtf my make-up is still on

So a while ago, perhaps due t the stress from exams, my randomness acted up and I went t buy ZA powder. Since my MAC foundation oxidized or smth already too (?? I don't know but thr's a freaky weird smell I don't even dare t use anymore). I read about how good it is and all on reviews and blogs, but I don't know how t judge! The two-way foundation is indeed very mild and does not appear cakey on your skin, but it made me mad fair. So I gave up using like aft a few days

BUT my eyelids still receive a constant dosage of eyeliner/concealer
Bleargh what t do, who doesn't wna look better..

A Thai movie about these two broken-hearted individuals' encounter in Korea and the crazy stuff they did thr which made them fall in love in each other. And as the story proceeded, they still didn't get t know each other's name. It's such a hilarious and sweet movie! This time round I don't think it's IMO, 'cus everyone in the theatre was laughing like half of the time throughout the show. The lead actor and actress are rly cute :B Go catch it! I think it's quite difficult t find and stream the movie online?

I had a fabulous day with Louis ♥! He spent the whole day with me, accompanying me t walk Yoyo and visit my grandma :) I think I should visit my grandma more often. I could see that she's rly happy t see us at her door, and spending time t have a chat with her. It was prolly the first time (?) looking her up like this, 'cus usually I'd follow my parents t her house. Perhaps it's just me growing older... and feeling what I couldn't sense when I was younger and more rebellious

Evening was spent swimming at my brother's apartment! Swimming in the evening was not a very wise choice indeed - THE WATERS WERE DAMN COLD. At that point of time the sky looked like it was gg t rain and predictably, it rained in the end -__- Welllll alright at least we got t swim fr a while, not that much of a wasted trip. Took a bus t Suntec and I didn't realize Paya Lebar was that close t Suntec! Mehehe we had a sudden urge t watch Hello Strangers 'cus the other time Chonglong told me the show's pretty good and told me t watch it with Louis.

But damn the only slots left at GV Marina were separate seats!!! Omg not so despo t accept that seating arrangement la hahahaha. Thn it got rly funny 'cus we really wanted t catch it fr the night. It was already 8.30pm, and we were wondering if we should book the seats at GV Plaza Sing even though only 2 seats of the first row were left. It was just like 2 minutes before we decided t book them?! BUT the application we were using t book seats fr the movie would remove information about it 1 hour before the screening time. Wtf right. Checked all the rest of the GVs (Hello Strangers is only available at GV fyi) and were losing hope. Argh but you know the feeling of not being able t do something when you want t do it damn badly at that point of time?! So we were like 'aye fuck it la, just risk it and make a trip t JR point' and hope we could get tix in time since we couldn't book through our iPhones

I absolutely hate Citylink 'cus it's like a never-ending path esp when you're in a rush!!! When we reached the MRT, we went fr GV Tampines instead hahahahaha. When we're on the train twds Tamps alr, GV Tiong Bahru crossed my mind and I suggested t Louis. I think he wanted t slap e already hahahaha. We proceeded w Tamps though. The bottomline is, we kept changing our minds, and ended up rushing here and thr and refused t watch it without hassle another day -__- We went Suntec fr nth can?! Paya Lebar was so much nearer t Tamps!

The best thing is the fact that we managed t catch the show!!! Omg I know right, damn retarded, but we were like thrilled and all and even packed Long John Silver combos t feast in the cinema muhaha :9 Long John Silver ftwwww. I wna try Texas chicken someday! Thought it looks good

Holidays hv been so far, enjoyable, I guess?

I don't have A LOT of activities, but more of like just hanging out with friends/Louis. Thn there were days I either came home earlier or went out later in the evening, so I could spend time slacking at home. I prefer gg out though... I just can't rly stay home. I don't get addicted t dramas so I wouldn't sit infront of my lappie and stream 'em, neither am I able t have my eyes fixed t the teevee fr hours. BUT I have not packed my room/wardrobe despite promising myself umpteen times :c(

So many people are gg overseas and I'm rly yearning fr a trip abroad too!!! Dont think it's possible anyway, bleargh. Imagine shopping at BKK/TW, relaxing at Bintan, ...........

Hv been trying t attain the impossible dur my study week - How can I possibly finish all my revision? Thr's this module which was ttly neglected, lectures and tutorials ALL missed fr the second part of the sem. Not like I regretted not gng, cus I wouldn't hv undrstood it anyway. Maybe the only regret was that I didn't start webcasting earlier t catch the syllabus.

Was trying t study at this corner of Starbucks at JP tdy. And what a studying spot seriously. It 's located in the mall YES but JP's rooftop (lack of vocab t describe with the correct term) was kinda transparent if you've noticed. So....... the amount of sunlight I received was immense man. I borrowed money from my brother t buy the camera I am using now.

Sometimes, I kinda envy my brother's life (OMG ENVY AGAIN, DONT KNOW HOW MANY PPL I ENVY EVERYDAY LAH can't stand myself -.- ). He's 29, a property agent, coping well with his freelance job (I think), married, and blessed with a cute baby daughter. He started t own his own car like 6 years back or so, and has since changed 4 cars in 6 years' time omg??????? My dad thinks that he could have saved up more. I dont know any shit about cars and I dont understand why guys can like cars so much. To the extent of spending money t modify cars, and still not very much satisfied, sell them away, buy new ones.

But he's definitely inspiring, because he didnt make it t university or anything like this. He started his career by himself. My family isn't that well-to-do, so he earned every single cent with his own hands. That's why I grew up t believe in one's ability t discover his/her own talent and strive hard, but not much on... education? I am lucky t be blessed with an opportunity t further my education, but I'm not making the entire use of it because I lack direction in life. I am studying business but the thought of working as an office lady repels me. My ambition isnt t be stuck in the office t keep the money rolling in...........
